How many of us are on Postcrossing? I'd be interested! I am. I have quickly grown a bit weary of the official sending and have become much more active in the forum, with round robins and tags.

I’m still on there. My “experiment” went well, and I loved all the cards I got, and am especially enjoying decorating the cards with special stickers, pictures and washi tape that the recipient would enjoy. It’s a nice fun thing I can do when I have a free 10 minutes. I usually have my maximum number of cards in transit.
I haven’t been brave enough to try (or recently had a spare moment to look at) the tags and RRs on the forum, yet.
Interestingly, I made an unexpected connection through Postcrossing 6 weeks ago and I still swap messages with them every day. Life is full of surprises. Postcrossing is nothing like I expected. I’m really enjoying it.

I celebrated my 10th Postcrossing anniversary by sending postcards. I have been a bit of a lapsed Postcrosser in recent years, but it did feel good to write postcards. I was unable to write my full allowance.

I've had a lot reaching their destinations pretty quickly this past couple of weeks too One to Italy only took two days!!! Stocked up on more cards today at our local Tourist Information Centre Get paid next Tuesday (5th) so I buy a whole load of stamps then too.

That's the only frustrating thing about my job....we are just a small 'local' post office and don't get all the lovely 'fancy' stamps I'll either order some online next week or bite the bullet and use our bigger post office in town.....where the staff are SO grumpy, rude and miserable!

Today, my son asked me if he could have a Postcrossing account. So we set one up. Then he was having so much fun, my other son wanted one, too. So now they both have one, and they are obsessed! They want to send out allllllll the postcards. Lol! They are loving the whole washi tape/stickers/sketching/stamps thing with just short messages. The 2 postcards they each did turned out really well. Every time they pull an address, they have their fingers crossed to draw their auntie or a good friend of ours, but then get really excited about whoever they draw. Its been great watching their excitement, as they check out the map and work on creating their masterpieces. It’s nice to see them so pumped over snail mail (next generation, coming up!). It makes my heart happy.

My son also likes to write short letters or postcards to kids he met on holidays. But they never reply... So frustrating!
