Shoutbox

emeraldscribbles: we haven't had a cold enough winter to kill the mosquitoes or flies :'( I am still seeing the occasional one flying around. Feb 19, 2020 11:59:17 GMT
Gary S: Warm again today. I was out cutting wood in short sleeves although I did wear a windbreaker when I walked down to check the mail at noon. I'm not trusting this warmer weather and want my woodpile stocked. Worst snows come in March and April here. Feb 19, 2020 22:52:48 GMT
distractedmom: Took the dog for a walk. Sunny and 35°F here today. Feb 19, 2020 23:27:49 GMT
Mia: Bought more stickers Feb 21, 2020 19:01:20 GMT
ginny: Same here, ... :wave1: Feb 21, 2020 20:38:01 GMT *
Gary S: Looked at stickers but did not buy any. I got will power....and empty pockets :haha: Feb 21, 2020 20:39:50 GMT
ginny: - willpower is overrated when it comes to stickers! Feb 21, 2020 20:40:57 GMT
Mia: £2 on stickers. Feb 21, 2020 23:53:23 GMT
Mia: RM price rise extortionate next month Feb 21, 2020 23:53:59 GMT
allanorn: @mia Do tell! Feb 22, 2020 5:42:11 GMT
Gilly: I was shocked at the price rise too Mia :atisoo: Feb 22, 2020 9:29:56 GMT
Mia: thread up Feb 22, 2020 18:30:09 GMT
voiren: I keep not daring to use my stickers! I picked some out, and they are all sitting on my table! Feb 22, 2020 23:12:52 GMT
penguy: Does the money the RM gets from stamps go back to the RM or into some general fund? Feb 23, 2020 2:39:20 GMT
Mia: It is all RM. The post office get a small commission from selling stamps (a bit more commission from printing postage labels instead of supplying stamps of the same value) Feb 23, 2020 17:18:00 GMT
PhotoJim: Back from the dead. If I owe you a letter, you may see something in your mailbox in the next few weeks... Feb 24, 2020 3:27:50 GMT
Gilly: My ex-boss (the bully) would often refuse to give customers stamps, even if they asked! He'd ignore them and stick a label on regardless! Feb 24, 2020 9:39:24 GMT
emeraldscribbles: I thought I was running low on stamps, so I bought some new ones...then found some I already had hidden in a drawer. At least I won't be running out anytime soon :D Feb 24, 2020 12:46:45 GMT
PhotoJim: I just buy stamps, and have an inventory at home. I collect them so I want to give any collectors on the other end (direct or indirect) the opportunity to have some for their own collections. Feb 24, 2020 17:51:23 GMT
PhotoJim: my stamps are the 2019 rate but the 2020 to-USA rate is convenient enough. the old $1.27 plus $0.03, or the old overweight-domestic $1.05 rate plus $0.25. Two stamps either way :) Haven't figured out how I'll cobble the overseas rate. Feb 24, 2020 17:52:37 GMT
