Looks lovely! I've got one drawer stuffed with ink in their boxes... I had decided it's full so I couldn't buy more before finishing a bottle, but guess what I just bought? *sigh*

I used to send to everyone I know, but it had become a chore and I don't think that's a Chrismassy spirit. So I narrow it down to people of whom I know they enjoy getting mail a lot, like regular penpals and parents (even though we always visit them too around that time, lol). Many neighborhoods here also have the tradition of popping a Christmas card in each other's mailbox, so my closest neighbors get one too.

Is it me or does it really say there is no airmail to the USA?

Thanks for the reply. Diamine does have great colors, but not so many in cartridges and I won't be fiddling around with bottles and converters while managing 24 kids. That's why I wondered if someone knows some fun colors in cartridges

I am running out of cartridges that I use as a teacher and thought I could get some tips from you. My Kaweco (EF nib) has already known Diamine orange, Diamine Claret and Pelikan green. I'm looking for: - standard international short - vivid, "happy" color - easy to read (no super-light colors) - no blues or reds - normal dry time Any brands/colors that come to mind? It's for kids aged 8-10 so you can go pretty wild on the "fun" level

The Netherlands here! Not many, but some letters never found their destinations.
Italy, India and Russia have showed to be the most unreliable, to the extent that I switched to e-correspondence with a good Italian friend.

Happy you got it! I sent it August 1 so it took quite some time but not as long as I feared.

Awesome idea! I just came back from Mongolia and I can totally see why they are doing this.
Btw, in the capital of 1.5 million people there are literally 3 places to send mail from (post office, airport 18 kms outside the city and some other place)...

Until a few years ago I think, I had to manually add a "priority" sticker/stamp next to the usual stamp in order to make it go at a - well, 'normal' speed. I remember having forgotten it to Italy and it took about six weeks instead of 3-6 days or so. I don't know if it had used other ways of transportation or that it had given postmen and -women days off Nowadays, the priority label is attached to the stamp, but I do believe it's removable (never tried).

... and I can't stand it that there are schools already that let kids work with tablets or laptop almost exclusively!

I wait for a nice quiet moment too. Usually it will still be the same day, sometimes the next.

I have two Sports and the Liliput in brass (remember when I came here, how I had just one Lamy!). All ink flows and nibs were perfect on mine. I mostly write with fines, but I do think they run a little wide so I got a EF on my Liliput and love it. The Liliput IS extremely small to carry, so I'm happy with a bit of weight from the brass. It sits in my Midori Traveler's Notebook Passport and fits easily it one of these plastic sleeves. A downside could be that it takes a little while to screw on the cap to the back of the pen, to make it possible to write. The Sport is just pop on, so that's much quicker. I love the elegance of the Liliput (and my EF nib) and it's great to put somewhere using just a tiny bit of space. However, for quick writing and carrying in your pocket, I'd go for the Sport. One of mine is always in my pants pocket at school (I'm a teacher), so I can grab it and write almost instantly with it. The Liliput would frustrate me in this kind of use. Have fun looking for your perfect EDC! PS the kids love it how my grey Sport writes with vivid orange ink
