I haven't set fire to a letter for a while... but today I received some wax hearts in a bottle, I ordered. However, the CN22 customs declaration form said it was a phone case. I wonder if someone else got a phone case and the declaration form said wax.

I just talked myself out of two LE MB inks. It's like I went to AA or something. If one of those inks was the Lucky Orange, I'd highly recommend it. It is a really nice bright/bold orange.

I used a small disc-bound notebook, about the size of a field notes book, but used in landscape, that way I can reorganize or remove old addresses if I need to.

Kaweco has most of their colors in cartridges, and some of them are quite bright and nice.

I think I've lost a few letters I've sent out recently too. I've been sending new letters to a few people I haven't heard from in a few months.

I read mine when I first receive the letter, and again when I'm writing a response.

Seems like it would be more sensible to have the face value of the stamp be the face value of the stamp, and you pay tax at time of purchase.

Holy crap, that is stupidly complicated. What is the reasoning behind all this?
So just to verify, a $1 domestic stamp is really only a $0.90 stamp if used for International mail, but good for $1 domestic?

I asked my local Post Office if they knew when the new Global Moon stamps would be released and they had no idea.

My letters vary but tend towards lengthy. I write as though I'm in a conversation and so I do rabbit on a bit I'm afraid. I like to make sure I respond specifically to all the info, questions and subjects covered in my pen pals's letter to me, adding my own news, info, thoughts and ideas as I go. Some of my loveliest pen pals write the most wonderful letters and I try my best to show my appreciation for their written gift, which a good letter definitely is. I try to be methodical and organised but usually end up rambling a bit, for which I apologise to my long-suffering pen pals. I always look forward to reading your letters!

I'll probably pick up a few sheets of the Global Moons. I think they look much better than the wreaths.

My handwriting was horrendous when I first started corresponding, or at least I thought it was. But it gets better all the time, and is usually pretty decent unless I start to rush.

I got a Pilot Kakuno for Christmas, but at the Philly Pen Show this past weekend, I picked up a Franklin Christoph M66 Stabilis in Antique Glass finish.
