I joined back in February and recently signed up for a penpal through them. So far we've sent a few letters back and forth.

I got the idea from a green snailmail sticker or stamp on one of the reply letters .....was it yours ? It is hard to remember when working through a big pile of them. Yeah, I have a Snail Mail stamp that I use on my envelopes. Sometimes it is green, other times blue.

I'm eagerly awaiting to pick up a bottle of this. Can't wait to see it in person.

I have been debating buying it. I have had the Martha stewart scoreboard that can be used to make envies but it doesnt have the same sort of variety. Have you tried making most of the envies? Reason I ask is that I remember shortly after it came out people were saying that some of the measurements were incorrect. I may have to suck it up and buy one *cries*. I really dont need another crafty item in the house. Skye, I've made many of the sizes but not all. So far everything seems to be about the correct size. None of my envelopes are exact, but that comes down to paper size and how well you line up the first mark.

skye, yes the We R Memory Keepers board. It works great, unless doing larger envelopes. One of the envelopes is close to No. 10 sized envelopes, and the board is a bit to short to fully score the fold line along the long edge. writingrav This is the punch board I bought. It has a guide for scoring the envelopes for folding and a punch to cut and round the corners. All you have to do is cut the paper down to the correct size.

I bought a punch kit from Michaels, and I tend to use scrapbook paper or wrapping paper to make my envelopes. I'll sit down and make several envelopes at a time, it is relaxing to just sit and make them. I noticed the possible opening issue a few weeks ago, and have been trying to make sure I leave enough room to slip something under the flap to open easier.

I haven't sent many tuck-ins. Usually, it only happens if I find something or see something with that person in mind. I have a penpal that is in Advertising Design, and I sent her an old Wrigley's Gum ad from an old newspaper I found. The envelope I sent you was because I have a stack of them, and I couldn't figure out what to do with them, and am hoping that other people might have a use for them.

Hmm, maybe I'll pick up a pad of G.Lalo soon then to try out.

I haven't used G.Lalo paper yet, but I have used Original Crown Mill Pure Cotton paper. I felt the same way. Looks and feels great, but I hated the way fountain pens wrote on it.
