Given my first name, I'll -have- to get a bunch of the red fox. Probably not a coil of 1000. shame they're 40c vs forever but i can make it work.

I feel kind of "meh" about most of them, but I'm sure they'll grow on me.

The sailboats look good so I might be in for a coil of postcard stamps, but otherwise I'll wait and see. Postal rate increases were also announced for January 2023: - Domestic one-ounce letters increase 3 cents to $0.63
- Domestic additional ounces remain at $0.24/oz
- Domestic postcards increase 4 cents to $0.48
- International postcards and one-ounce letters increase 5 cents to $1.45

Looks like I'll be getting good use out of a Fox 40c chasing a 24c Hare (well, Brush Rabbit). Two Forever plus the Hare puts me 5c over for international, so that'll work.
Hey, who doesn't like to pay more for the same stuff.

Bridges and micro, yeah, both look great. I guess I'll get even more stamps to go with the several hundred I've bought. I think I've become an unintentional stamp collector.

You know, the Tomie dePaola one might be worth picking up a set.
Do I pick up a coil (100 stamps) of additional-ounce brush rabbits? School buses aren't exactly exciting. Could pair them with the foxes or use two for postcard stamps in a pinch.

Yeah, I’m thinking of stocking up on brush rabbits too, since I use them (and will still use them after the price hike, I think) to pair with two forever stamps to mail international letters. The brush rabbits are cute and match everything. The school busses…they’re maybe sort of cool, and novel, but I don’t know if I want a bright yellow bus stuck on every pretty envelope. On the flip side, maybe my international friends would enjoy such an iconic piece of everyday American life? So I’m not sure. I should probably stock up…

I think I've become an unintentional stamp collector. Same. I go through a lot of stamps, but I don’t even want to count how many extra I have right now. The most I’ll admit is that my stamp bag is very fat right now. 🤣

"Stamp bag" reminds me that the way I'm storing the stamps gets in the way of using them conveniently, or even knowing what I've got. As a second step, after admitting I have a problem, I should maybe get one of whatever stamp collectors use to organize things. A binder with sheet protectors? Something thinner than a 3-ring would be nice. Maybe there's a pre-bound set of sheet... holders. Or something. Never mind about finding pens, or knowing what ink I even have. The pen organizers are generally too big, and who wants to spend pen money on storage? And ink? I think that's too niche to have established solutions. Maybe whatever knitters use to organize yarn? Assuming there are small yarn (ball?) storage... things. Or it could all just be on the shelf and I could not be so lazy and just take the whole bunch out and look at them.

I’ve lost track of what some of my stamps are worth. I thought the postcard stamps were also ‘forever’ stamps! I found out my seashell ones are only 44 cents and I don’t think they make a 4 cent stamp. I wonder if the USPS site tells what unmarked stamps are worth 🤔 I have a bunch of Robert Panera two ounce stamps and patriotic additional ounce stamps…

If the seashells say "postcard" then I believe they are forever, and track the current postcard rate. Same, I think, for "additional ounce". The international ones definitely are "forever". The fox ones that I like are fixed denomination, sadly.
