I know there's been some discussion about expanding the conversations outside the three "always" updating posts, and I thought this one might be an interesting one to keep going: Post information and reviews, links or questions about the stationery you just got. Of course, this is what I do on my own website, so maybe I find it more interesting than others... I imagine something like this: Just got my hands on these gel pens: www.jetpens.com/Pentel-Hybrid-Dual-Metallic-Gel-Pen-1.0-mm-8-Color-Set/pd/20117The colours are nice and bold and the sparkle/shimmer is easy to see. I really like how nicely they show on the page, and the wide, solid line they make - something I didn't expect from a glitter pen. The writing is also very smooth and consistent - they definitely write like gel pens. I do find that even after a very long drying and curing time they still aren't bullet-proof - if an eraser passes over them they lose a lot of their shine and smudge a bit, even after a day or more curing. Has anyone else tried these? What are your favourite glitter/shimmer gel pens, or do you use a shimmering/metallic fountain pen ink that really stands out to you?

It's not a bad idea, but at this point in my letter writing career I'm more inclined to use what I've got and not buy more. Maybe a graveyard post is in order? Post what you've used up, donated, tossed, paid forward?

I like the idea of reporting what we've actually used up! I love stationery, but I also try to avoid buying unnecessary stuff. World is full of tempting stationery, so some support for using the stuff we already have might be useful That being said, I really WANT to get this pen: It's erasable so I think it would be a good one to carry with my planner.

When I was in Seattle there is a store that has mostly Japanese products and I purchased a tablet of Tomoe River writing paper. I love the weight (very light) and the fact that though it is thin I can write on both sides and there isn't any bleeding. Then recently I purchased some good quality envelopes at the local print shop. It seems to be hard finding envelopes that are fountain pen friendly.

I bought a bucket load of washi tape the other day. Felt a bit ashamed of myself afterwards because... who needs 20 rolls of washi tape when they already have the double amount at home (not counting the specific Christmas themed tapes - aaaargh!). But it's all good. I will use the stuff eventually

Stationery in general can be quite addictive. A "cheap" chain of stores, one is in my town, and they've got yet more new stickers... their little sticker book range is actually cheaper than a certain online store...
My last stationery purchase - double-sided sticky tape as I'm taping things in letters... Before that, a sheet of those new stickers, oh, and an order of things from Pure Pens...

I thought for sure someone would outbid me on each, but no, I bought 3 pens on eBay today. Two Sheaffer Balance pen and pencil sets, and a Wahl black chased hard rubber.
Hopefully they are in as good of condition as they seemed.

I love stationery, I think I own enough to start a stationery shop. I love those gel pens and they dont last long either. I remember doing a project and used up the whole pen in one sitting

I agree whole heartedly with you summer87. I took out my stash of A5 notebooks and was shocked that I had so many. You can see my NOTEBOOKS here

You can see my NOTEBOOKS here ..and they look so pretty! š I buy and keep them away..maybe if I kept all the books in front of me and take a pic like you did, I might realise I have too many notebooks? Hopefully that should stop me from buying more. š Also, I finished 1 more washi roll (I got a long lost order of 12 washi rolls š
..I dont know what to say š¬) and an orange felt tip pen.

I've recently started using L. Writing Pads from Life paper. I LOVE them. I also recently was inspired by a washi tape (of which I bought every available roll - a total of 3) and fell in love with a raccoon theme. I used that washi up in short order and learned that there won't be more for a couple of months. I was also sent a Kaweco sport FP and four sample size bottles of ink from an anonymous person on SendSomething. I ordered a refillable cartridge from Amazon so that I can use the inks in the pen.

I bought a couple of Pentel Energel RTX pens from Target on the advice of JetPens, but only after I tossed half of my disposable pens out (they dried up).
