Trying to be good, but have been browsing Cult Pens and Pure Pens...
May get to a stationery shop or two this week and will possibly keep an eye on washi/stickers rather than anything else. Might also look for paper I can use to make envelopes, though with most of the UK commemorative stamps issued, they are not self-adhesive on shiny paper (I've known them to fall off). Though could save those envelopes for use with the self-adhesive stamps, maybe use for Christmas!

I have bought 3 bottles of ink, a Toms Studio pencil and leads but not one single notebook! Came very close though as I browsed Nero's Notes and Baum Kuchen web sites! but I resisted!!!

I finally went to our local stationery store called Officeworks, bought a colouring book called THIS COLOURING BOOK WILL COLOUR YOUR LIFE! SLOW DONW & BRING ON GOOD VIBES Each page has a different design and wording that you colour in.
Bought some envelope stickers some of you will receive, steel ruler to fit into a pencil box to take to my second. Some gold and silver metalic markers and red felt tip pens to write with at work. Red pens just dont do it

I got some new stickers (flowers, leaves, berries...)! Not that I needed them, but that's not the point of the whole thing, is it

Cult Pens Notebooks...Rhodia Classic Stapled Notebook...Wonders of the World Ink by Diamine...Petra...Christ the Redeemer...Machu Picchu....Chichen Itza...Taj Mahal I've done that a few times; even from the USA, the prices make it worth the nominal shipping. Hadn't heard of the Wonders series. I've been trying to quit Ziggurats. Listening to the Erasable podcast, during my current mostly wood pencil phase here, they said such a true thing: Inks are like Pokemon - so easy to get sucked in to trying to catch 'em all. I think the threshold of that is buying more colors before you've written at least a paragraph with all the ones you already have. One I passed so very long ago. Darn Robert Oster. Darn Colorverse with their HUGE, if very cool, boxes. For a single brand to buy a lot of colors from, Diamine is maybe the best. I got into it with pencils, too, buying just about everything that is a decent quality wood pencil on Amazon. 10 years ago, that wasn't very expensive. The selection now is amazing, and dangerous. Ditto the faux Moleskines.

On my last vacation I bought a Lamy Vista and a Caran d'Ache 849 because I was in the places where they were inexpensive!

I spent some time in the Netherlands recently, and I came home with 12 new rolls of washi tape. And today, I went grocery shopping... and came across stickers in the store - on special offer. Needless to say I need new stickers like a hole in the head - but still, I grabbed five packs (35 small-ish sheets altogether - 2 packs with 10 sheets each and 3 packs with 5 sheets each)...

Not a purchase, but I found a box of amazing Christmas cards while decluttering the office/library/ music room. “Scotties in the Snow”. Definitely using these this year!

A set of FriXion clickers just magically arrived on my doorstep. I am home alone so no one in my family witnessed the madness. I plan to use them at work.

So I have been eyeing out the Onion Skin Journal but shipping costs made it too expensive. Then, my partners nephew said he is coming to visit in the UK in August so I bought the pack of Onion Skin Cahier's and had it shipped to him in the USA and he will bring them over with him!

Evening stompie, apologies if this is a bit weird as I've only just joined the forum, but I have some Yamamoto 'Smooth Onion Skin' A4 paper which I'd be happy to send you a few sheets of (as you're in the UK, like me). I bought it a while back expecting it to be FP-friendly (as advertised) - but haven't found it to be so. Unfortunately neither Yamamoto nor the seller were interested. Maybe it's the pens/inks I used, although I tried a varied range I don't know if you use fountain pens (haven't had a chance to poke about in here yet!), and YMMV of course regardless of writing implement, but if you can use it or just wanted to try it (and anybody else UK based who'd like some) please let me know. I'd need to fold it to DL size for posting so it won't be pristine. (Apologies if I shouldn't be posting this here - I'm new!)
