Winter doesn't seem to be in full force in my part of the world, but winter it is with short days, and miserable weather. Perfect for sitting inside next to the fire writing letters. 2018 was not how I expected it to be. Family circumstances meant I was not able to fully concentrate on bringing extra content online, such as audio/video. Situation on that front hasn't changed too much but what can't change will stay the same. Although I wanted to do everything myself, I am learning to delegate. The lovely katiel is running the AWoSM instagram account, for which I am grateful for. She is also in charge of the Snail Mail Scavenger Hunts (entry can be via the forum, the Facebook group, or via Instagram). A reminder if you do post pictures of incoming/outgoing mail on the web, please please obscure/cover up the other person's postal address. In the last quarter of last year, I started an AWoSM blog, and hope to have it updated more often this year. New entry posted today on what makes a penpal letter good, although there is no magic formula to suit all. I intend the blog posts to cover topics relating to snail mail, and I will welcome guest voices for a more snail mail community feel. Next post should be about the February letter writing projects/challenges as February is not far away. After this topic, what would you like to see discussed next? I think that about wraps it up for now. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
