Snail Mail Scavenger Hunt: November

Do you love scavenger hunts? Do you love winning free stuff? We have just the game for you! We’d like to start offering a monthly photo scavenger hunt, where you take pictures of the 5 items listed. Once you’ve collected all 5 photos, you can post them (all at once) to the A World of Snail Mail Facebook page with the text “November Scavenger Hunt”, to be entered in the drawing for the monthly prize. (Don’t have a Facebook account? No worries! You can also email your submissions to Katiel - PM her for her email address!) You must submit all 5 pictures together (or as a collage) to be eligible for the prize drawing. This month’s prize is a “Correspondence Bundle” and includes everything you see pictured below!

Here is what you need to find for November:

• A non-white envelope
• The postbox/mailbox where you leave your outgoing mail
• Something written in colored ink (not blue or black)
• Something postal/letter related that reminds you of autumn
• The writing implement you last used

All submissions must be submitted by midnight on November 30. Drawing will be held on December 2nd. The scavenger hunt begins immediately.

The November Scavenger Hunt was a success! We had 4 participants (not bad for our first month!), and we loved seeing all the pictures. Who won? I drew a name out of a hat (actually, I had my son do it) and the winner is...
