It appears to be working for me. It might have been offline though - happened in a previous year.

Do we have any WordPress experts here? Unfortunately, I know very little about WordPress, and that also goes for the one who started LetterMo....

I've used Wordpress before, so I know some.

I know enough about it to have stopped using it.

Looks like she found a couple of volunteers and things are looking up for February 2018's LetterMo.

It is indeed looking better than it did a few days ago. They need quite a big spam zapper for all the spam threads (it will take time, I was shocked at the amount I saw created in 3 weeks, hence contacting her). Hopefully, the forum administration is now in good hands.

is lettermo different than incowrimo? Very similar projects. Lettermo lets you have non-postal days off! Also, encourages you to send different types of things and letters (try saving space by writing cross what you've already written) and from different mailboxes. InCoWriMo-2018 is a handwritten letter every day. Both projects happen in February. LetterMo forum allows you to have a profile, and mini-bio. Also, you can have intro threads there. It started in 2012, and there was a post about it on the Postcrossing blog in 2013. The "official" InCoWriMo started in 2013, and I took part in it the following year via the fountain pen geeks forum (both run by the same person). However, the main website was not updated in 2016 although people did sign up. The "official" incowrimo has people commenting using Disqus with name, address and perhaps a mini intro, but that website hasn't been updated yet for this year. With it being uncertain for 2017, InCoWriMo-2017 was created, and is regenerated for this year as InCoWriMo-2018. It can give you the bare minimum of name & address, but nothing up until mid-January. Although you can write something in the comments section of the page (site uses Wordpress).

I think I'm signed up. I have a profile, photo etc and a log-in page but don't seem to have access to anything else. Weird!@
