Royal Mail will be marking the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter (1866-1943) with a 10-stamp issue to celebrate the timeless characters she created. More details can be found at www.norvic-philatelics.co.uk/2016/07b_Beatrix_Potter_stamps.htmI will probably be buying the first class stamps with Peter Rabbit and Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, and £1.33 stamps of Squirrel Nutkin and Jemima Puddle-Duck.

Beautiful! I have the feeling that many Posts are issuing nicer stamps than they used to. Or perhaps it's only that *I* am more interested in stamps :-) Elena

Royal Mail has implemented a new system and they've been having teething troubles. Norvic's blog has more details on it.
