When I go on vacation i usually have my mail stopped for pickup when I get back. I assume others do the same, what was the largest number you have retrieved on your return? I did send off 4 letters while away do you write letters while on vacation?
After two and a half weeks I had 7 waiting for me. They were from Italy, eefa (Ireland), Sunshine2170 (Australia), Graphitediaries and davidv (Canada), and one from TX and one from MN. I am still trying to get over jet lag, and received two today one from Stompie (England) and a postcard from my grandson.

I have a post office mail box, so they usually stuff the box full, then keep the rest for me as I usually let them know I have gone away for a holiday.
The most I have gotten on return is around 20 letters, cards and bills, which usually takes me awhile to read and return a reply

To be honest, I do not know if we can do that over here - I never thought about it even, the only thing I have done is have mail forwarded when I have moved house.

I used Royal Mail's Keepsafe thing one Christmas. Can't remember how much post was delivered at once.
I was away for month+ mostly Februarys in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Hubby forwarded in a big fat juicy envelope post to me via special delivery (can't have all those incowrimo letters getting lost), a few times. Spent at least a couple of hours reading through the letters.

I probably got 5 letters waiting for me after 10days that I was gone in April. For me, it’s hard to write letters on vacation unless I’m traveling on my own, which is rare. So I usually write several postcards when I am away.
