I have the feeling they'd get as much out of it if I just donated the $1.15 it'd cost me to mail them the used stamps I had... OTOH, it is better than binning them.

I heard back from someone who is a Postcrosser in Australia. He collects stamps for his local Lions Club in Queensland, and the money helps pay for prosthetics for young people.

I guess an alternative would be I throw some stamps into my next letter to you or anyone else interested. It's not like I have kilos to ware, more like 10g.

Will need help to fill in other countries. I'd like to have listings for the countries we have members (or penpals) in. Here in Ireland the following charities and groups take them: Barnodos Ireland ISPCC (Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children) IPCC (Irish Peatland Conservation Society)

I don't collect stamps, so I give away all of the stamps that I receive on letters. I've sent quite a few packages of stamps and even large boxes of used postcards to various charities. And, of course, I pay postage for all of those mailings, which is fine. But I've never received a 'thank you' note from any of those charities, except from... Stamps for the Wounded. Thank you for the 'thank you'!
