Letter writing can fluctuate during the year -- increasing during InCoWriMo, or decreasing during a busy summer, or a time of illness. Factoring those unique times out, how many letters do you write in a a typical week (i.e., what's your epistolary "steady state")?

Factoring those unique times out, how many letters do you write in a a typical week (i.e., what's your epistolary "steady state")? I wrote 151 letters from Feb 18-December 31, 2016. So let's call that about 3 letters per week. I kind of wish I had started tracking earlier in the year.

I wrote 60 letters* plus Christmas cards from 25 February, 2016 to 23 December 2016. There are some letters I will not include because the letters were either one offs (unreliable letter writers) or I got dropped by someone so roughly 75 letters were written I bet.
I take 6-7 weeks off at Holiday Season 2016 to focus on family.
So far this year - 56 letters and also letter cards from 19 January, 2017 to 8 May 2017 😊
I will be probably close to 200 (letters and letter cards) by the end of the year. I am not accepting anyone new unless I know them to be reliable writers. I have my birthday cards and Christmas cards done for 2017. I know who I am sending to since it's the same as last year only a few are not getting cards from me and a few new ones will. 😊 I am very organized and only write 49 people - half regularly and the rest actual friends of mine. X

Lady year I wrote 45-50 letters, making it about one per week. This year I am writing more but I know I'll slow down the pace in summer and I am not sure I'll even reach 2 per week

Of course I meant Last year... I haven't deactivated the autocorrector in my cell phone!

Of course I meant Last year... I haven't deactivated the autocorrector in my cell phone! I didn't know autocorrect can be deactivated! It is so annoying when autocorrect thinks it knows what word you want when it isn't the correct word for your sentence! Hope that made sense LOL x

InCoWriMo aside, if I get one done a month I'm happy. It's sporadic, though. Might write half a dozen each month for a few and then go a few months with nothing.
Autocorrect: I've disabled it on my iPhone. It still suggests 3 possible words on the line above the keyboard but it won't change anything unless I tap one of those words. If I really want a joke, I use the voice recognition. Works great for my sweetie, but my voice is apparently indecipherable.

I've been much slower recently. With the nice weather, and all do the baseball, softball and volleyball, I have to decide between things like "grocery shopping" and "laundry" and letter writing. Sometimes I take my pens and paper to games, hoping to write in between games, but then I just end up talking away. The curse of being an extrovert.
