Old atlases, which show up at yard sales, have nice big paper good for envelopes or even using as gift wrap.

Halloween envelopes that went out this year! Good job, those look neat! Where did you get your paper? My Memory Maker punch board showed up today, but I haven't got any fun paper yet to make something.

I picked up a We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board that was mentioned earlier in this thread, and a package of interesting looking paper with 20+ different designs from Michael's. It was easy to figure out, and the board lets you make a bunch of different sized envelopes. Below is my first custom envelope. I added stickers for the addresses since it was a kind of a busy print. I plan to have some fun with Christmas Cards this year! Thanks for the ideas!

What do you guys use to glue the envelopes together? I thought about using Scor tape, as suggested by a pen pal, but doesn't that make the envelope not as easy to recycle? Wouldn't some form of glue be better?

Someone sent me a glue roller tape thing, from the US. A Staples brand (but not available in the UK).

wow. That is brilliant! I've got to go to staples to try and get some HP 32lb paper that my pen pal said was thick enough to make envelopes with. I'd like to design envelope art, print it onto the paper, then just cut it and glue it.
