In today’s mail, we received the Fall issue of the Grinnell Magazine, published by the college my daughter is currently attending, albeit remotely. (Fingers crossed that she’ll actually get to GO away to school in late January.) This essay about discovering old letters was included, written by an alumnus. It made me a little weepy, thinking about how today’s kids won’t have these memories stored away in a trunk. magazine.grinnell.edu/news/education-letters

Interesting link, distractedmom, thanks for sharing. I wonder how this person's college friends felt when they received the old letters and what they thought about the whole scenario!
