I almost forgot to pick up some of the new USPS "Mayflower in Plymouth Harbor" stamps. The issue date was September 17. But today I managed to buy the last two sheets at my Post Office. Because I like... dismal weather, I love the scene shown on the stamp. I wish I were there....
The USPS Christmas stamps can be pre-ordered now, but I'm not crazy about them. The wintery stamps that I think look good are those in the "Winter Scenes" issue, coming out on October 16.

I got the new Christmas ones at the counter earlier this week! They are extremely bright, but definitely festive. I picked up two sheets, but I’m definitely most looking forward to the winter scenes one too! http://instagram.com/p/CFh1ChsHjr_

Hmmmm....that was just supposed to show the picture, not the whole post. Not sure how to fix that. I’ll come back and try again after I have breakfast and am slightly more awake.

I picked up some of the USPS "Winter Scenes" booklets today. My favorites of the 10 different stamps are the rabbit, the pine trees, and the snowy lane. But they're all very nice stamps!

I preordered three sheets of Plymouth Harbor and they’re beautiful! At the moment I have 2 sheets of Winter Scenes in my USPS shopping cart. Yes, I’m a stamp hoarder.
