Being new on the snail mail scene, I struggle to find quality paper in Germany and The Netherlands. i have asked for Tomoe, Rhodia and Sugarcane paper, but the shops in my village or even the nearest town in either Germany or Holland do not stock any of mentioned papers. They all stock the same stuff. Couldn't even get .....like a set or something.
A sales person kindly offered me a few sheets of laser jet printing paper though, but it is stark! Have to get into embellishing the paper I have.
I did buy some stationery but at €0.30 a sheet I was neither impressed nor happy.
Is there anybody here who knows what I should look for and where?
Have made about ten "art envies". It's great fun, but I'm not very good at it yet.

Try Fritz-Schimpf. Their own label writing paper bloc is very nice. They sell matching envelopes too.

Thank you so much...I just googled Fritz-Schimpf and my husband suggested we drive down - 4 hrs plus - to buy some goodies. He has to go to a clinic in Bad Bentheim to recuperate after a hip replacement operation and when he returns home beginning of the third week in February we wil visit Tübingen and spend a few days there. Really appreciate the help!

You can also check on La Couronne du Comte, they're a Dutch shop and they tend to have the lowest prices of anywhere for most items and their customer service is amazing.
