penguy this would be a great 5Q entry. I love tea, tea, tea. When we moved to the island my sister in law came to help us unpack, she squealed when she saw 5 tea chests of tea - who has 5 boxes of tea lol. At home - I have tea leaf for my first cuppa - white and sugar. At work - I have tea bag and two cups of tea within the first two hours. At home/work - if its a cold wet day or in winter I go through lots of cups of tea a day I try and have green tea during the day and succeed in winter because it keeps me warm. I do not drink coffee at all but I love sitting in a coffee shop and smelling the coffee aroma. My friend has successfully got me drinking coffee the way she makes it with ginger, it is to die for

First thing in the morning I have a cup of black tea. Then coffee after lunch, green tea in the afternoon, coffee again after dinner and green tea/black tea for the rest of the night. Most often when I’m writing letter it’s late night so usually a cup of green tea is sitting on the desk with me. I think I consume too much caffeine.

I think it is time to put the kettle on! Post arrived and I think I need some tea to open it!

I must begin the day with a really strong Lapsang Souchong in an enormous mug, followed by yet more. I think that the best is mcnultys.com/products/lapsang-souchongMcNulty's Lapsang Souchong: Heavily Smoked. They also offer a "lightly smoked" for those who don't want love the heady aroma of elderly ashtray with a touch of peat bog and a top layer of camp fire. A dash of milk adds the marshmallow in this particularly funky S'mores! I drink some lighter teas in the afternoon.

I don't drink anything when writing. I'm too afraid I would spill on the letter. Besides, when I write, it tends to be quite intense.
But I do like tea otherwise. My current favourite is a black tea blend called "syystee" (autumn tea). It has some lingonberry oil and vanilla. I tend to like blends with vanilla, mango or peach, or Earl Grey, but plain black tea is also fine. I can not say I'm sophisticated enough to tell the difference between all the options of black tea, but I usually choose assam or english breakfast. I drink my black tea with milk, and green/white tea with honey.
Hmm.. Now that I think of it I also really liked Jasmin Earl Grey I bought when visiting Londong years ago. I should try to see if it's still sold somewhere.
