The "official" incowrimo (International Correspondence Writing Month) webpage : incowrimo.orgFor those who don't know, incowrimo is one month (February) where you're supposed to write one letter every day to someone, anyone. Although that webpage has a list of people you can correspond with, I believe fpgeeks and fpn also have forum discussions devoted to it.

Thanks for starting this. Looking forward to February. Nothing much else to do in the coldest grayest days of Winter.

Build an army of mutant snow men and women, armed with an assortment of rocks, twigs, and household utensils. That's what I do, anyway. I'm looking forward to InCoWriMo, too. I mean to actually participate this time.

Perhaps 5Q could meet InCoWriMo. When you sign up, add your choice of 5 light-hearted questions for people to answer.

Postcards count too, don't they? After some (or most) days of work I can't get myself to write a letter anymore.

As far as I understand it, written anything, sent, counts. Watch for when someone puts up addresses of famous people to write to and try that. I have never had one answered but some have.

Probably but whether I will need new victims is unknown. I do hope the main site for it is opened up soon; I did send a pm to Eric.

I'll probably do it again this year, but I may pace myself out a bit more this year rather than the 29 letters in one week.

I noticed that there hasn't been a lot of activity on the official InCoWriMo web site and since it's getting fairly late in the month, and some of us NEED to plan if the whole write a letter a day thing is ever going to happen, I thought I would share a calendar I made up. Be warned that I simply swiped the back ground image off the web and don't have anything even remotely resembling permission to use it for my nefarious schemes. So if anyone is thinking to turn a nice profit off selling February only calendars I wash my hands of the whole copyright infringement affair. It looks like this: You can find it here: www.mediafire.com/view/bs3x84esgrj3m84/Incowrimo_2016_calendar_ver_3.pdf

I'm in and looking forward to it. Somehow February and writing has come to mark the 'real' beginning of the new year as opposed to all the chintze and fakery found a couple of days after Christmas.

You are my life-saver hahaha You're very welcome. I got tired of waiting and as I design much of my own stationery this was really quite simple in comparison. Enjoy
