eli_lovefool has some beautiful watercolor envelope art on Instagram Whenever I see wonderful artwork painted inside the envelope like he/she does, I wonder if they actually use those envelopes to mail something, and if yes, how can the recipient get it opened without destroying the art!
intheecotone is an Instagram user that decorates envelopes by sewing, like this cacti envelope. She also has some amazing layered paper cutting creations. I had not heard of that artform before. Must take ages to make! |

I am not on Instagram or any other social media other than Proboards, but I do spend a lot of time on Pinterest, and find some amazing mail art on there! I haven't really taken any notice of the names of the people who do them, but Naomi Bulger: www.naomiloves.com/mail-art rings a bell. |

I love envelope art, do some myself when I get time. My favourite that I follow is Jean Wilson Pushing the Envelope. She organises a decorated envelope swap every month |
