Welcome to A World of Snail Mail. Snailmail and sending real letters by post is not dead.
I hope this place I have set up will be a safe place for people to discuss the world of snail mail in an amicable manner. I also hope it will enable you to find more penfriends, if you so desire.
To get the most out of this site, you need to register and participate. Quite a bit of the site can only be accessed by those logged in. However, if a member signs up and later goes inactive with the rank "New", after six months their account may be pruned from the membership rolls. So, if you’d like to keep your account active, we encourage you to at least pop in and keep in touch.

The Forum code of conduct
- The main purpose of this forum is for conversation and discussion about letter-writing and the world of correspondence. The contents of letters can include a wide range of topics and themes, however there is to be NO posting of offensive, violent, sexually suggestive/explicit content/graphics on this site.
- Be friendly.
- You are responsible for what you write.
- English is the official language of the forum. If you do use another language, you should say what the language is, and where possible, provide a translation.
- Be respectful of other members, respectful of the forum, and respectful of yourself, and please don't insult anyone.
- There is limited image storage space on this site so it is appreciated if images can be hosted elsewhere. One image hosting service suggests 640 x 480 for forum use.
- When quoting posts with someone else's address in, it is advisable to remove the address because that person has no control over their address in your post and write {address removed}.
- The use of the private messaging and email systems to threaten, harass, advertise, solicit or otherwise annoy another member is prohibited.
- No spamming.
- No racist, obscene or vulgar comments.
- No country bashing.
- No religion or political wars.
- No abusive, slanderous, hateful and threatening messages in the forum — they will be removed. If the messages continue your account will be banned.
