While at the DC Pen show, near the very end of my time there, I picked up on a whim a tablet (approx. 8x5) from a lovely woman sitting at the Bung Box table. I took it home without thinking much about it or even removing the cellophane. I took it out today to try: It is fantastic! Probably better than Tomoe River. It feels like linen. The ink goes on smoothly. NO bleeding or show through. Not as light as TR, but not a heavy feeling. Simply put, I love it. The tablet was $8 if I remember correctly. I can't say how many sheets, but no different than most tablets one would buy. Now I can't find it anywhere. Not through google, JetPens doesn't have it. Anyone more creative than me at finding such things?

BungBox is actually a stationery shop and they sell a range of other items, in addition to inks and pens, such as this writing paper plus notebooks, pen wraps, etc etc. bung-box.com/products/detail1359.htmlYou can order via a forwarding service such as White Rabbit Express. I've used them a few times, mainly because their staff speak English and I find Tenso very confusing, and they've been excellent.

That looks a lot like a Rhodia pad. I'm definitely going to try and get some and do a comparison. Thanks for the head's up!

I got mine today via White Rabbit. It feels kind of odd!! Takes ink well as long as it isn't too wet, my Omas Milord OBB bled straight through but it is VERY wet!!

Most Japanese writing papers made for fountain pens don't deal well with very broad wet nibs as they are not used that often in Japan. Preferred nibs are UEF, EF and F. Tomoe is an exception, but that wasn't originally intended as a writing paper.

White Rabbit help says it could be another month!
